33 Local businessmen and businesswomen stepped up to the plate to donate funds in order to help The Pennsville Women’s Club raise monies for their upcoming scholarship awards to 3 high school seniors.

The Club is holding it’s first ‘Pocketbook Bingo’ on Friday, June 15th @ The Pennsville Middle School and hopes to raise close to $3,000. I’ll report back after the event to let you know how it goes.

In the meantime, if you want to come, there are still tickets left! The pocketbooks to-be-won are absolutely beautiful!

There will be 20 bingo games, 3 raffle prizes, a 50/50 and a yummy food selection!
Doors open @ 6pm and the first game kicks off @ 7pm.

The Pennsville Women’s Club, a 503c nonprofit group, was formed nearly 80 yrs. ago and consistently raises funds to provide scholarships, help the disadvantaged, honor our beloved Veterans, beautify our communities and make them safer. The club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Club International. Membership is $25 per year, meetings are typically held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, except in Nov. and Dec. when the meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
